Overview
Lazer is an experimental game inspired by oldies such as the Vectrex. The goal is to immerse yourself in a minimalist world in which you must avoid lasers to survive.

The concept
Lazer draws inspiration from early vector arcade hardware, where technical limitations became the visual language: thin luminous lines against a pure black background.
The rules are reduced to a single verb: avoid. There is no score to optimise or inventory to manage — only lasers to survive. This keeps the experience focused entirely on movement, timing, and reaction.
Design & build
The visual system was intentionally stripped back so every element on screen carries meaning — a laser, a boundary, or the player. Interface elements were reduced to the essentials, leaving the action as the main focus.
The game was built in Unity with C# and deployed to iPad through Xcode, with touch controls refined around the precision and responsiveness required by the gameplay.
